Inspired by the numerous Rube Goldberg style videos, namely the OK GO music videos, I decided to use my knowledge of Motion Boutiques Newton plugin to create something similar. My intention was to use no keyframes whatsoever, and let the physics engine completely animate the piece. The only element I ended up animating myself was the time re-mapping of the car jump at the end.
