Twinings Infusions
My job on this film was to create the CGI balloons that would float throughout the various scenes. From capturing lighting and texture information on the shoots, to modelling and animating the balloons, I was involved throughout the whole process of this film.
Various Tests
Early on in the project, we were going to include some paper vines that the balloon would pass through, that idea was later dropped. Below are a selection of 3D renders featuring various stages in the process of creating the balloon, and the vines.
Balloon concepts
The 'tea balloon' went through many iterations and ideas, from simple fruit-shaped latex balloons, to balloons made completely out of real fruit, below are just a few of the ideas we came up with.
